Writing is a sedentary, often lonely way of working. All writers need another creative outlet. I have drawn, painted, whittled and generally fiddled with found objects, wood, etc since I can remember. I have recently discovered the wonder and beauty of stone carving (see Shaman’s Head ).

Many of my works are in private collections.
